Garanti Bank- Voice-Banking application in the Turkish language by Dialogos

Garanti Bank, one of the largest private banks of Turkey, has launched in 2002 its voice-banking application, built upon Dialogos’ speech recognition technology.

At present, the system has been fully integrated and runs successfully, providing information of financial interest to the bank’s clients. Garanti’s automated system provides information on the stocks and indices prices, exchange rates, bonds, securities etc., as well as a general report and comments on the market. The system recognizes a multitude of Turkish expressions, enabling the user to request, through exclusively voice commands, information on stocks or indices, without having to memorize their distinctive code, as well as on other financial information. Finally, the call can be routed through the application to a human agent, either when the user wishes so and therefore requests it or when the performance of a transaction or procedure requires it.
